I’m absolutely delighted to share some exciting news: Coffee Pod Creations has been shortlisted for Petersfield’s Green Business Award!
The Petersfield Awards celebrate the best of what our town offers, and this year the Green Business category recognises businesses making a real difference through sustainable practices. The public voting window is now open until mid-October, with winners to be announced at the awards evening on Friday 24th October at Churcher’s College.

Your reasons for nominating Coffee Pod Creations
'Creates beautiful jewellery from used coffee pods taking into account socioeconomics'

Why This Means So Much
Being nominated feels like a lovely nod to the heart of what I do: transforming single-use aluminium coffee pods into jewellery that’s both beautiful and environmentally minded. Each piece—whether a delicate necklace or a bold pair of earrings—is handmade in small batches here in Petersfield, Hampshire to avoid waste and celebrate resourcefulness.
From the outset, sustainability has been at the core of Coffee Pod Creations. I choose stainless-steel findings for their durability and tarnish-free nature, and all pieces are packed in recycled and recyclable materials. Through my partnership with Ecologi, I also offset carbon emissions for materials and postage—making every order a small yet meaningful step toward a greener future.
What the Nomination Means for Me
This shortlisting is more than just recognition—it's an encouragement to continue pushing for sustainable design. When I began Coffee Pod Creations in 2018, my goal was simple: to give discarded coffee pods a second life. But it has grown into something far more meaningful—a celebration of creativity, responsibility, and the endless potential in what we might otherwise throw away.
Hearing from customers who love gifting and wearing these pieces—with many remarking how amazed they are to discover what they’re made from— is really rewarding.

How You Can Help
Voting is open until mid-October, and I would be truly grateful for your support. It’s quick to vote and every vote counts.
