I've spent years designing and creating jewellery - melting silver, fusing glass and painting beads -  loving the craft but always curious about new materials.

 

Then one day, whilst visiting a friend’s house, I noticed the coffee machine. The coffee pods caught my eye —bright, colourful, and destined for the bin. It seemed such a waste… and such a missed opportunity. Aluminium is an amazing metal – it’s hypoallergenic, light weight and doesn’t tarnish – perfect for jewellery making!

 

So that little pod sparked an idea. I began experimenting, reshaping these discarded capsules into something wearable and unique. Whenever I wore one of my creations, people noticed. Friends, strangers on the tube, even the doctor —everyone wanted to know where they could buy these pieces. And so, Coffee Pod Creations was born.

 

What began as a creative challenge has grown into an award-winning brand, recognised for innovation and ethics. I’m proud to give new life to something that would otherwise be thrown away—and to show that sustainability can be striking.
